DEDICATED TO SERVING OTHERS When it came time to choose a profession, I knew that I wanted to devote my life to doing something that would benefit others. I decided to become an optometrist for that reason, and I’ve been very happy with that choice. I began working with Vistarr in 1997 and have since garnered years of experience that have improved my clinical skills. PATIENCE, COMPASSION, AND A PROBLEM-SOLVING APPROACH Clinical skills are only part of the equation. It’s also important for an optometrist to have good people skills. I’m pleased to say that i have lots of patience and empathy and truly enjoy interacting with my patients. I also love to tackle complex problems and find just the right solution. A PATIENT-CENTERED PHILOSOPHY Respecting patients involves showing concern and delivering care with empathy. But it also involves making the most advanced technology and procedures available to each patient. I’m delighted to work for a practice that does all that. BA: Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA OD: Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Elkins Park, PA Subspecialty Interests: Difficult contact Lens fittings, Children’s vision problems

EXPERTISE AND COMPASSION Being an optometrist lets me make a real difference in how patients “see” the world, enjoy a respectable career in the medical field and still be a great wife and mother. I joined Vistarr after serving for 10 years as a member of the affiliate staffs at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Jennersville Regional Hospital, where I assisted in hospital and emergency room consultations. So I bring years of experience to each patient. DEDICATED TO EXCELLENCE My natural enthusiasm, efficiency and positive attitude make a real difference in my approach to patient care. I am also thoroughly organized, compassionate and a natural detective who enjoys identifying each patient’s problem and finding the right solution. REACHING OUT TO OTHERS As a health care provider, it’s my responsibility to share my knowledge and foster wellness. That’s why I lecture to senior groups and write and edit articles about eye health for local senior magazines and newspapers. BA: Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ OD: Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Elkins Park, PA Subspecialty Interests: Complex contact lens fittings, diagnosing and managing chronic conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration
